Default Converting the HD to strip/weekend only.

I recently bought an OBS Suburban so The HD no longer needs to do any family duty. Now it can be built into a 100% track and weekend toy. This means every bit of weight that can come out, is.

The final dash will be very similar to factory but with much of it maid of fiberglass. I may also try to make this the upper peace in fiberglass but I am not 100% sure that will happen.

Now this isn't weight coming out and but my mother works at a tarp factory. She got me the tarp for free and we sewed Velcro around the outside and I glued the Velcro to the bed rail. With the fuel cell and nitrous bottle in the bed I want it covered.

Finally the new trailer that will be hauling the HD to the track. The company I work for just bought it and I will be able to use it any time I wish.

The glass and resin was free.

6.0L and he drag races it now, so I assume for drag racing. Wonder how much heavier your truck is compared to a 1/2 ton reg cab.

It is a 2500 HD that was a long bed. It is a 6.0 LQ4. I would like to build a 408 stroker this winter but not sure if I will have the money. If not i may just give it a nice rebuild and maybe heads this winter, I have a cam but it is kinda small so not sure if I will install it or get a bigger one. Last it was to the track and working correct it ran 13.4@ 100 mph. on a 100 shot. That was long bed so by the time I take it to the track again it will be 500 lbs or more lighter and I might take some 125 jets and some 150 jets with me. Shooting for 11.99(lofty goal).

Between the 4l80e, 14 bolt, and heavier frame that's almost too low to believe. I've seen stranger things though.
