Black Truck 2014 build...ladder bars, turbo, fuel system etc etc
#46
PT88 sold. Hoping to have some billety goodness in my life sometime next week.
Going with a manual brake setup. That should be here soon hopefully.
Going to order a manual rack from flaming river and make our own manual rack setup.
Hopefully get some time this weekend to install the ladder bars so the truck is a roller again. Then we'll start fabbing the turbo piping.
Seems the list of stuff I want to do to the truck just keeps growing and almost makes it feel like it won't be on the road any time soon, which sucks. BUT, we've always (by no ones fault but my own) thrown the truck together as quick as possible with intentions of coming back to other stuff at a later date, which never happens. I think if we make a plan and stick to it, the truck will be a really nice piece. Time will tell

Borrowed some front wheels to be able to set the truck on all 4's so we could level it all up and start getting the ladders bars welded in.
Lowered the back another couple inches. The front will be a few inches lower too.
Bed off to start welding. My buddies procharged truck on the lift.
Pinion angle set, front crossmember welded in, ladder bar brackets tacked up. It was pretty cool to see Tyler work with a real deal race car chassis builder on this part. Jeff Lutz actually came by and helped us get everything set up tonight and will be finishing welding the brackets on the housing. Neat stuff.
