I was leaning to the slave going out as well. The master cylinder came with a fitting that goes on the bottom and you run a tube into the reservoir, they say to pump it couple times and have someone refill it as you go. Once done quickly hook back up the pressure lines to the slave. This was in the instructions, I assume this is comparable to bench bleed?
I would like to leave it in the truck and do it but little to no room to knock that pin out that holds the pressure line to master cylinder. If I take it out and bleed it I would assume I need to leave it filled up when installing back. That will be a pain because I have to turn it to lock it in. You have a different method of bleeding it?
Still fighting transmission issues. In talks with monster clutches figuring stuff out. I bought this clutch used and monster says the clutch is in bad health, old and might be why it’s not releasing. Seller said it has plenty of life. Thoughts?
I reached out the seller to see if I can get my money back if I eat the shipping. I should have just got a new clutch to be honest but you learn from mistakes. The guy selling did not have any of these pictures of the clutch in what I have posted here. When I got it and looked at it I expressed my concern but he said its got plenty of life left.
I measured the thickness of that disc and its .3in so monster said its used 40 percent of material but that doesnt mean it has been abused. They havent sold this disc in many years
Makes sense on why he didnt post up the pictures and wont return my messages or calls. Got hustled, it pays to just spend extra and get it from vendor and you know what your getting
