Any time I do fuel lines I run the regulator up to 100psi with the engine off for a couple minutes to check for leaks.

I had an issue with Fragola fittings myself in leaking. I contacted them not knowing I was speaking with the owner (Brint) and actually sent him all the lines after several normal attempts to tighten and more aggressive attempts in tightening. As Atomic said, they are easy to #$ck up. I was told they are harder material (brinell hardness) than say Russell, Aeromotive, or other brands but perhaps with less threads noted below causes an issue.

The other trick that he told me to do on assembly that I'd not heard or seen was to use an engine assembly lube: https://www.jegs.com/i/Lucas-Oil/639...r+Confirmation

The crimped lines were MUCH better and adding a dab of the lube with what I believe was still excessive tightening of the fittings resulted in zero leaks.

Ive used their normal AN hose ends, barbs, and premade hoses and all are of those are fine, its just their PTFE lines I have an issue with.

Got out and did some work on the truck. I am so close to getting it done, hoping for a spring drive. But had to pull the wires out of the loom for the map and reroute the wires. Snipped of the end and soldered it to the 3bar map sensor on the lid. Then unpacked all my front drive accessories, brackets, and pulleys. Got them mocked up and pleased with how they look. Will need to do some measuring on the blower pulleys to make sure they are good. It came with pulley to replace the alternator stock and also tensioner so need to get them off and put the new ones on. Got ptfe lines built from the rail to the regulator. Once the front drive stuff is done, I will start with HX and mounting pump then put front end on. Need to put in new fuel pump and run my ptfe lines. I guess I still have a lot to do now that I think about it.

You are correct, I am trying to avoid being picky. I ran into stuff I would like to do along the way but its not needed in order to get the truck running.

Any reason why I couldn’t lay this pump on its side? I have a good mount spot but would have to turn it on its side. The inlet is point up in this picture and I will use gravity with the tank above to feed it. I don’t see any reason why it can’t. It’s a pierburg cwa150
