Just another update, engine is at machine shop we decided on which way to take it. The seized cam bearing didnt do enough to make the block useless. Since I am running a blower he want to try and get compression in the 9's. So going to bore the cylinder 30 over, and run a Mahle power pack piston on top. There was only like four hundreths of wear on cylinder walls. Bought a slightly used monster sc clutch, reservoir having made from snail fab, got track attack HX in, and a pierburg cwa100 hx pump. Just need cam and fuel pump.

ya my current is 10.2.:1 it wasnt much to bore it out more like 300 dollars. But reading over on ctsv forums 10's are ok, running e85 will help as well. Apparently pistons are few and far between he said. They have had issues being able to get them on timely manner. Hoping it wont take them much longer, ready to start piecing this together to drive

Went looking around today for a new camshaft. I called TSP since I had decent service there last time. I know everyone is partial and or you can get a cam almost anywhere these days. I called them and they gave me this for my build. Also wanted something that would go with my top end that I already have. Just add boost component to it.

What would cause this gauging on the deck and would it be of concern? Maybe piston hitting it. Was cleaning up my heads in prep to pickup my engine this week.
