I figured on the Ati balancer would reduce vibration in higher rpm’s and make it smoother. But I won’t be in high rpm’s a lot, I was initially going with stock but figured I would give a chance to see if anyone was selling an Ati for cheap. I bet a lot of those Zl1 run high HP with that stock balancer just fine.

I am going to run gen4 rods with weisco forged pistons. Would any of you run OEM gen 4 rods that are reman or used that have low miles? Or buy new for piece of mind.

I ran the 200k mile rods that were in mine with new bearings. No issues.

I am just going to vent a little because people **** me off. A seller on facebook was selling a set of new gen 4 rods for an easy $200. After some jerk stole my money on another forum part I am very hesitant and probe people before buying. This guy said he would need full payment via paypal before shipping he guessed shipping at 30 dollars. Since they use paypal its probably legit but I still test them. But all past successful transactions they ship and give me tracking # and actual shipping amount before paying. I told him if I give you 30 for shipping and it ends up being 20 you going to send me 10 back, granted its just 10 dollars but its the respect and principal of the matter. He said no, full payment ahead of time. I even offered part payment then after seeing shipping info you get the other, still nothing. He said no big deal if you dont want it, I said same here there is plenty of other choices, and finished with you think retailers like JEGS give you a guess when they ship and pocket your money f.ck no they dont, they give you actual amount.

Good on you for using paypal's protection. I never use friends and family and am more than happy to cover the tiny *** percentage that they charge.

Saying that though, I will never ship without receiving the money first but I am pretty damn good at getting the product out the door same day. Shipping without money in hand is begging for trouble since, as a seller, you have no way of telling the shipper to stop the shipment. I always get a shipping quote when I ship something too you can literally do it online lmao who the **** goes to the place without the package already done up and ready to go.

Ya I agree, but the buyer can get screwed as well, its just the gamble of not doing it through an actual retailer.
