I’ll be interested in the tensioners to see what they have. I have a complete setup that’s been shelved including an ATI balancer. Only items I didn’t purchase yet was the LSA tensioner and alternator. But this wasn’t for my truck, it was for the GTO.

Ya I can post up progress here. But until then I am going to copy the link of the front drive that I may buy, still debating since there are so many choices.

Making progress, almost done tearing it down to just the crank and block. Once I am there I will send off to machine shop.

I have a question would you run the stock clutch in a Lsa blower application? I figured it would hold up but maybe fizzle out sooner. Then I am back in putting in a better clutch which should have been done to begin.

Welp ran into a snag. Anyone have any advice on pulling a cam out with number 2 journal bearing seized on the cam? I have everything out of engine and ready for machine shop. Maybe let them handle it? Apparently this is common on gen 3 6.0's. They are original ones with 120k on them so not surprised.

As Michael Jackson would say... Just Beat It!!! The bearings have to be replaced any way. once it pops from the journal, Cut it off the cam.

I have seen it on core motors but usually on engines that were run low on oil. Never had it happen my self or any one i know that takes care of the maintenance.
