84' K5 blazer trail truck build. 5.3 swap in the works
Me and the girlfriend decided to find a off road project and go in half on it. Picked up this 84' K5. Has 3/4 ton axles, 6" lift and sits on 35" superswampers. Crappy part, has a turd of a engine in it, a 305. I planned on LS swapping it from the start so I found a 5.3 and picked it up cheap. This project just started so I'll have more updates as it goes.

Very cool!
My first vehicle was a 77' k5 - inline 6-3 speed(+that granny gear- does that make it a 4 speed?!)
Any way I love em still....21 yrs later. Tons of fun in the back when your 16/17!!

Over memorial day weekend I got the block painted and bottom end installed. I also bought a cam kit off a member on here I'm hoping to receive this week. And completely finish the engine build. I have all gaskets and seals. Ready to be reassembled.
