missed this , manny you are required to send me any videos of the truck , it was in the agreement we made!!!!!
so glad this truck went to a good home and fellow forum member , really cool how the deal worked out. Manny has the touch this truck needed to get it dialed. I lost interest and have to many hobbies for the truck . it still had some weak points in the setup as manny has found . it is very hard to make something this heavy work with half ton parts. the only other similar one i know of making more power has alot of custom stuff and a fortune in supporting mods . it is no where as clean as the SS was though. this truck was all show and go. hope to see you get it in the 9's manny !!!! that was my goal for this truck that i never did meet.
On the other note, i still have my lsx desire and now have a gen 2 CTS-V with a nice setup (heads,cam, intake , pullies , 102 tb , e85 , and supporting mods) car makes 792 at the tires right now with stock cubes , stock blower, stock transmission and stock rear end . Im also trying to get 9's as it is (just ran a 10.00 @ 139.8 , but couldnt get a better pass before it got dark) . Here in so cal d.a. is never good and that was the best d.a. i have ever raced in . the run was made at 450 ft d.a.
I am now setting up a two bottle spray bar setup with a stand alone fuel system , and all the goodies to go with (nx maximizer 4 , lpe timing retard box, dual bottle heater brackets and the best of all , none will be seen when popping the hood and trunk .
So im still trying to make a brick fly (car weighs 4550 with me )
ill start a new thread soon although i doubt many on this forum still remember me.
Im also starting a big project soon . look for my thread
