2003 GMC 4.8 RCSB turbo/sport truck
Just finished my turbo install so i figured might as well post the truck and tell you what the future plans are. So first off truck is a stock 4.8 4l60e 2wd rcsb, and has some sort of suspension drop(no idea what size it is). As of now the truck came with 20" bud wheels, cowl hood, lowering kit, and stupid chrome tail lights.

Installed the turbo kit. 70mm from on3 performance with upgraded fuel pump and 55lb injectors. Other those mods the truck is still stock.
Just waiting for work to slow down a bit then ill be getting the truck dyno tuned.
The turbo i installed. 70mm
i ended up flipping the intercooler the other way. the opennings on the top

Launching!
Nice truck. Keeping my eye out for a high mileage rcsb I got a 5.3 sitting on a stand that just got honed and cleaned up. Going to twin turbo it and build it for boost. How’s the on3 kit install wise and figment? They have the best prices. Not sure quality but looks good imo. I’m gettin their return fuel regulator kit and Holley sniper rails for my nnbs intake. But the crossover is not from them. Mines forward facing with flipped manifolds. Id love to be able to order a kit but I can’t afford that right now. So I’ll be building my own. What are your goals with this? fuel, trans, internals? Etc Thanks

The fitment is good not great, all the pieces look really nice but my biggest complaint is the instructions. When i get the truck tuned in 3 weeks i'm hoping to get 400whp around 8psi of boost that's for now. Big plans for the truck is 5.3 or 6.0 with the better gen 4 rods and pistons. I have a set of rods and pistons for a 6.0 so i'm just looking for a block. As far as the trans goes i'm either looking at a 4l80e or TH400. TH400 just for cost wise and 4l80e for the overdrive.Fuel will be 93oct as we dont have E85 in western canada yet and i may go fuel cell with aftermarket pump. The truck has 3.73 gears right now and i will keep those if i go 4l80 but if i go TH400 i may go with 3.23 or 3.42 gears. The end plans are make a truck that i can drive everyday and then throw some slicks on and run 11.50 in the 1/4. Don' want to cage or make a race truck yet lol.

The figment is pretty good. I got the drive side manifold as well. Only thing the needed modifying is the down pipe but it wasn’t to bad. Also mounted the intercooler upside down with the inlet and outlet on the top instead of the bottom.

Was getting the truck dyno tuned today. Was having issues with the truck going lean. Would run hard tell 4200rpm then start going crazy lean. Thought it might of been a fuel pump problem but the pump is a rock solid 60psi. Think the problem was with my Chinese map that came apart. Also the cheapy injectors I bought we’re acting up. So had to order new injectors and new map sensor. But truck made 330hp and 430ftlbs at 4psi of boost at 4200rpm.
Once the parts show up it will be getting finished.
