New Personal Best 1/4 Mile
All summer I have been trying to hit my 1/4 mile index of 12.50 seconds and haven't had time to see what the truck can run flat out. Below is a slip from 2017 when the DA was -500 feet (left). The slip on the right is from last Friday night when the DA was -100 feet. The only mods from the slip on the left and the right is 4.30 gears (previously 3.70), 100 pounds of weight loss from the 4-link and the air box listed a few posts back. The 60 foot dropped a tenth and MPH is up as well.
The only mod I have planned for this winter is a TBSS intake and 90mm throttle body. I've been skeptical if this intake is worth what everyone says. We will see this spring.

2019 Winter Work
Quick Update. TBSS/NNBS intake, 90mm throttle body and 36 pound/hour injectors. I made a new aluminum intake tube due to the throttle body being in a different position. This is the only change to the setup this winter. Looking forward to spring to see what improvements this will yield at the track.

Setup looks awesome! Wish I had your skills on suspension. I'm working on a 96 c1500. Lowered it a few weeks ago at 4/6 and picked up some adapters to run camaro ss wheels. Nice sporty look. Powerplant is a ls3 so it should run good. Keep this thread going so I can stay motivated

TBSS intake results
Below on the left is the quickest time I achieved prior to the intake swap. This is with the stock LQ4 intake manifold, throttle body and 8.1 truck injectors (running 100% duty cycle). The density altitude was -100 feet.
On the right is after the TBSS intake, 90mm throttle body and 5.3 Flex Fuel injectors (running at 85%). The density altitude that run was +600 feet. No other changes were made, truck is the same weight, same tires, etc. It certainly lived up to the hype surrounding this intake, picking up ET and MPH.
This will help this season of Outlaw 10.50 index racing when I need to hit 12.50 in the heat of summer. I should be able to run my index in the hottest of New Hampshire summer days with this change. Can I hit 11.99 this fall when the DA hits -1000 feet? I'll find out in 4 months.
