Today I remember why I hate body work, it took over an hour to get everything lined up enough for the hood to close. Tomorrow the windshield is getting put in and I rolled the truck out to turn it around and make it easier to access for the window guy.

There is a pretty big rake to the suspension height, can't wait to get the engine, transmission, and driveshaft installed so the work on the rear suspension can get started!

Lots of progress has been made since it looked like this on 7/24!

Shhh that detail was not planned to be covered in this thread. It worked great though.

Here is some pictures of the headers, look much worse in person.

All of the tubes have welding splatter.

Nowhere in the ads does it say anything about "finishing work" all of the headers I have bought have been clean and smooth. These headers literally look like they were home made.

I guess I will have to clean mine up a little.

Let me know the details on that radiator. I have access to stuff wholesale, so I will order one if it works out for you.

I built an s-10 a few years back out of a salvage yard. Couldn't find a radiator for it, so I pull one from a V8 80's camaro. The width was right, but it was a lot taller. I simply notched the core support, and made my own brackets. I then made my own fan shroud and put an electric fan on it. Work great, the upper hose was a little odd, but it worked. Cooled fantastic, I could shut the fan off, and let the engine come up to full temp, then kick the fan on high and watch it pull the engine temp back down to 160 rapidly.

Here is the location chosen for the proportioning valve, not the master cylinder i'm running though.

Steering problem solved by orienting the center link correctly!

Tonight the new master cylinder was installed, this is from the GMT360 line of GM vehicles and it relocates the outputs on the master cylinder to the inboard side. After lots of research this unit was picked because with a home made bracket the **** on the Wilwood proportioning valve fits into the recess of the fluid reservoir for a nice compact fit.

Obviously the lines to the proportioning valve are not typical...but this was done with space saving in mind. I've been a full size truck guy forever, its difficult working to space limitations for the first time. One of the goals this weekend is to make a new bracket for the proportioning valve to mount it lower and allow the lines to down and around vs. up and around.

Better picture of the adapter plate for the booster.

I need your guys help here, this is on the passenger side frame rail, two plugs on this harness, one goes to the impact sensor...help me find what the other connector plugs to!
