come by the house some time. I'll cut them out. You can pay me with some manual labor!! hahah. I figured out I'll have to run a 95+ steering column. The one I have does not have the cable to select a gear. Looks like a run to the salvage yard is in my future.

You can use the stock shift linkage that is in the truck now. You may have to modify it some to get it to fit properly but it will work. If you swap to the newer column you will need to do the dash too.

That is why I haven't installed it, lol. I am not dead set on selling it yet. If I do I will pm you before it goes online. Just thought I would see if you were interested before it goes on CL.

I can see it hanging there in your picture of your trans intstalled. I can try to take a pic of mine when I get home but it may not be much help I dont have a motor or trans in mine at the moment. But I can take a picture of the linkage.
If it is unhooked just hook it back up to the column and there should be a pivot point it bolts to on the frame. You may have to tweak or shorten the rod going from the frame to the trans though.
Ok found a couple pics from someone elses build. You can see the factory shift linkage. He had to shorten it some to get it to fit and shift properly but all you do is take a little out of the straight section and weld it back together.

Nice! I did notice the bar just didnt know how or where it bolted to the frame. Thanks for the pics!
Here is the latest on the project. Installed new upper/lower ball joints, new pitman arm, tie rod ends, sway bar busings, rotors, calipers and brakes pads. I also installed a set of 2" lowering springs. Moving to the turbo install this week.
