285/75/16 I have read most people had success with, anything wider I don't know about. The wheel is only 6.5" wide, and most tall tires call for a wider wheel than that once you get up to 265 width or beyond.

It's pretty much done as it sits. I mean, it ain't pretty by any stretch of the imagination but everything works. I was having a problem with the blower intermittently stopping. Smack the dash, it would work. Go over the RR tracks and it would quit. Tuns out the plug for the blower motor was cooked. (Top)

Looked for a pigtail on rock auto. Those things are stupid expensive. So I did some searching on Mouser and found the plug and crimp on terminals all for $8. Back in business!

Part numbers for reference:

Not sure why I didn't think of this before. Maybe it's ill advised. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I think until this engine finally lets the smoke out, I'm going to get into the habit of using "flood clear" before starting.

5-10 seconds of dead cranking before lighting it off kept the "LOW OIL PRESSURE" warning from coming on. Also, there was significantly less (almost none) piston clatter once it did fire up.
