Depending on how many miles are on it, or on how much power you wanna make, look into injectors, an aftermarket HPOP, and a Wicked Wheel to prevent compressor surge.

swap out the idm. beans diesel has tuned idm's for $100-150 after core. that's good for some better response and about 30 or so hp. or swap the injectors for some tranny savers or stage 1's it'll set you back about $600-1000(depending on where you go) after core.
an HPOP is going to be pretty expensive. your looking at $1700min for one of those(stage 1).
there's also the ats compressor housing. as well as the NON-waste gated compressor housing.
a good idea as well would be to run a regulated fuel return setup and fuel bowl delete with a electric fuel pump/filter/water separator. it'll also improve throttle response as well as your power curve. and you'll have no more leaky fuel bowl syndrome. it'll also set you up for success when you start installing more parts. i'd honestly do this before an HPOP. the factory fuel bowl setup is also HIGHLY restive when it comes to fuel flow. you would be suffocating the HPOP if you did that before the fuel.
if you have over 250k you might want to consider swapping out the injectors for at least some factory remans. the nozzles start to get real crummy and don't spray as effectively.
