How well does a stock 07 exhaust flow
I'm looking into buying a oem muffler and resonator from a 2007 f-250. I've searched the forums but cant find out if they flow well. The only thing I know is that its a 4" exhaust system. I want to put it on my turbocharged Sierra to quiet the exhaust down. It currently has a 4" muffler that dumps underneath the passenger side seat. I'm hoping by switching to the factory exhaust it will bring the tone down and not hurt performance. Any info is appreciated. Here's some pics of my set up.
Here's my water tank and pump for the intercooler. I used a heat exchange from a stock 03 cobra. I may add another one later

bad *** truck.... to he honest with you i dont think you can fit a stock diesel muffler on that truck.. All my buddys have diesels and they are freaking huge...
Id look for a stock 8.1L muffler.. when my truck was stock it was so quite you could hear it, Granted it will not flow the numbers your looking for, but you could do a electronic dump.. infront of the muffler.... quite when you nned to be, flip a switch and straight pipped, you could also stick a inline muffler in there... ive down a few race bullits from summit on stuff before to quite them down.. are you running a external wastegate, or plumming it back into the exhaust... Reason i ask is if its just dumped, poresche make a waste gate dump muffler... they ran the on the old school 930 cars..
One thing by looking at those photos is the sound is twice as loud with that tuned down to the ground... id run it back as far as you can.. you could also do some trick stuff... on brad truck, we ran a exhaust tip off a helicoptor, sorta looks like the square angled nascar tip.. his truck is lowered as well, we cut the bottom of the bed side and mounted it there.. Your truck looks as if you have more room so you might be able to exit under the bed...
