Exclamation Forced Wireless utility meter installation - Police escort Muni Utility workers

This is horseshit! Warrant to be on premises for the Cops? Then the cop telling her that she doesn't have the right to film him? REALLY? He must have missed those higher court cases saying she DOES have the right!

This needs to go VIRAL, spread it around so everyone can see how Cops ought NOT ACT!

Woman Arrested for Posting Video of Armed Goons Escorting Smart Meter Installers - YouTube

It's possible that the muni utility workers were there lawfully, but I don't see how the woman can't "Opt-Out" of the wireless meter installation, at the very least have them pull the meter and discontinue muni electricity service.

This might be sad as I am the first reply to a thread I started, but here goes anyway.

Came across this little video going into some info on emf relationship with human beings, but I'm not to sure how much of it to believe. It makes some sense for sure.

Isn't muni only on the peninsula? Completely off topic, but I don't understand what's wrong with having the smart meter installed? We got them in Dublin a couple years ago and it means less hassle for the homeowner and the meter reader

My company has installed them for several cities with great results in savings and reduced problems. I know some concern exist tho that rationing may occur or big brother is watching type paranoia. Honestly it's for the benefit of people until proven guilty.

The Dark Side of 'Smart' Meters - YouTube

not only a health issue for people sensitive to radiation from 24/7 cell transmissions... to add, they have been tested & 1 meter puts out over 100x that of a cell phone, which we have all been warned about radiation from holding too close to our heads or using then for long periods of time.

Doesn't effect me, I'm not sensitive to cell transmissions that I know of, but if the software inside them is "proprietary" (which means no one knows what data is collected or sent) and no one knows if the data collected will be sold off for marketing, then they have no business forcing people to have them.

If they are "good"... then why hide some of the info about them?

If one gets put on my house I'd either remove it like other people have or just buy a cheap plug in vibrator and run that bitch 24/7/365

The ones PG&E are installing must be very different from ours. We don't use zigbee we use cellular transmission identical to the ones in home security systems. Also no way we can monitor what devices are being used the only info we collect is the exact draw which info is then sent to the power company. To know what exact devices were used would be impossible due to so many variables included in how homes are wired, how they are plugged in ie power strips and the hundreds of thousands of devices that exist. I am an engineering major currently in college so I should know a thing or two.
