If you must really know...my fears are a bunch of beautiful naked women hiding in my truck when I get in it ready to jump me and have their sexual way with me. Let me know if you plan on pulling that AWEFUL prank next time I come to texas!

I respect them also, I don't act stupid around them. I also use the right equipment to catch them with. A buddy of mine had gotten bit by a Copperhead and spent a few days in the hospital only because he didn't take immediate action after he got tagged. The copperheads that I catch are sent to Texas A&M herpetology department for venom research. They are researching the venom for properties that could aid in the fight against breast cancer.
fun4me, it's cool you also don't kill them unless u have to do so.

He also doesn't waste any time handling the same snake more than once, ao as to agitate them.
... to red part. That's not respect, if you're killin them. Unless they're where u live & they're threatening you. If you're seekin then out, that's just wrong to kill them. Co existance is different, as I wouldn't want them occupying my space. They're living creatures like you too. Beneficial for keeping mice, insects & whatever else they wanna ****** up away from humans.
When I was young, < 10 yrs., I was bit in high grass in Mississippi by a venomous snake. No, IDK what kind (high grass remember) but it was venomous as noted by the 2 puncture marks on my ankle. I had a dislike, or even hatred, if not total fear of snakes. Many, many yrs. ago, I grew outta that & realized that was unnecessary. If they're behind glass for viewing, or can't get to me, I've no issue w/. any snake, venomous or not. I can actually appreciate them, tho I wouldn't keep as a pet. Much as a venomous snake is quite evolved in terms of toxins (varies on species) for killing prey, so too are sharks. But sharks command more respect, likely due to size & those nasty teeth. They are the ultimate predator. Shark evolution is teeth replacing other teeth, smell sensitivy, & so on. Again, long as a shark isn't gonna gobble up me, I would share their water. But, I can get away from a snake if I see it, easier than a shark in water.
