Default Sprayed The 08 CC Today

OK some of you know about the RCSB with the 4.8 I Tortured with like 41 bottles of gas. I got my kit on my new CC today it has 481 miles on it. And I am proud to say it is a gas addict. I did it right started off with the 71 Jet from N.O.S. still have it on 87 octane. First shot at 30 the tires broke loose and the stabilitrak kicked in. Turned that crap of and did it again. It pulls hard not as hard as my reg cab. But I put 20" wheels on this one. I did get the 3:73's with the G80 exploder with a stock tune, muffler and no shackles. Only thing on it a 225 nitrous kit and a K&N air filter. I have a solenoid rated for 175 hp but you can tell a serious difference between the 175 jet and the 225 jet. I think I will get a another solenoid and spray two dry shots of 125 into the air cleaner with the 175 solenoids.

nah, Just going to have fun with it for few months. If it blows it blows. When I was racing the motto was "its gonna go or its gonna blow" but i did learn not to mix 1 gal of 35% nitromethane with 1 gal of propylene oxide with 10 gals of gas - it will burn a hole throught the block deck and the head deck just like a cutting torch - I even went up 10 jet size in each front and 10 in each rear.. A friend of mine at work sold my trade-in while I was away for school for a few days. Man that guy got a good truck only had 7999 miles on it. I'll keep everyone posted.

Pill it till you kill it. After what you did to your 4.8, I'm not too worried about my 125 hp wet kit.

Do you really think it's all that difficult to remove a nitrous kit if something blows?
It would take less than 30mins to remove a kit man.

i wouldnt think they would tear into an engine and waste time and money because they have a suspision of you running naws. What would be the signs of a nitroused engine? i have heard of (burning holes in you pistons) but usally a blown engine is a connecting rod failure from most of what i have seen. I know there are some GM techs on here hopfully one will chime in.
(DONT MIND ME IM DRUNK)
