spark plug question

im new to the whole nitrous thing and heard its a safe insurance basically to run colder plugs my question is since i will only be running the bottle at the track and 1-2 on street for fun red to red will the 2 step colder plugs affect the n/a side of the trucks performance.... also i got ngk 3346-br7ef plugs are these correct????

I believe most run NGK TR6 for nitrous. They are only one step cooler than stockers
Hell I am running them without nitrous due to my tune, truck doesnt run any different.

the new way says not to use a tr6 and to get a non projected tip plug. how much compression do you run and how big of a shot are you planning?

how much are you planning to spray? if u plan to hit it with 150 or more use what u have. I was running the non projected tip version of the tr6 plugs, but switched to the tr6 since I cant find the others as easily locally.

its pretty much a stock motor with the typical bolt ons and a cam and i plan on spraying a 150 shot at most

The recommended plugs for a 150 shot are the bref7 some say they run fine others have commented bad idle i run bref6 on my 2011 camarao and it runs great but Ive only hit it with a 100 shot i have a set of the bref7 for when i hit it eith 150

I would recommend you use the BR7EFs if you are going to be spraying 150hp. Also you will want to gap them at about .032.

These are what I run in my personal truck and I do not notice any power loss while using these plugs. I have notice that they can fol out a little easier and faster than a higher heat range but luckily they are only $2 a piece.

you can also tune to run the bref7 and it will run fine
