I got the nitrous express Proton kit installed on my buddies 2013 Silverado LTZ Z71 6.2L yesterday. I absolutely LOVE the kit! Fast installation and very easy to hide! I didn't get any pics of it yesterday because we were anxious to test it out. We loaded it with the 100 shot pills and went out to try it. Well, we ran into a buddy of ours with a bone stock 95 LT1 Corvette. Decided to try it out(our buddy has no idea we have this on the truck, as does nobody else local) I took out the Gopro and this is what happened.

So I'll get a few pictures of the kit hopefully today or tomorrow. We have another race this afternoon with a stock 4.6l mustang on street tires. The guy said that all of the Z71s are junk and he can beat any one with his stock mustang(it really is stock....you have to know the guy). I'll post that vid up as soon as it happens.

I figure on the 100 shot, the truck is easily a bottom 14 second runner. We were taking it easy on it, letting it get out some, then hitting the gas. I'm trying to talk him into the ls9 cam and a 150 shot and it will be a real street sweeper.

I think daryns ran 13.4s? on a 100 shot at the track last time. he murdered me out the hole but half track i left him standing still.

 

This one is bone stock with big aftermarket tires and the 100 shot. I think it might would touch a 13 on the 150shot, but no way its there as is. I sure wish mine had the 4wd out of the hole though.....what a game breaker on the street!

 

Ohh... a tune and hitting it off the line would be even mo funner!!!

 

We might just have to try that too. I hope he ends up doing the cam swap. Those gains are awesome for staying with an OEM cam!

Put about five on the stang! Guys were really cocky, so I get a little mouthy on the video. It's all in fun though, but I did rub it in a little hard. Vid will be up tomorrow along with install pics. We stuck with the 100 pills and it was more than enough.
