Jegs 1gallon plastic fuel cell. $70
Jegs 130gph electric pump with holley 12-803 regulator. $98
3' -8 braided hose. $15
6' -6 braided hose. $25
Miscellaneous fittings. ~$50

Less than $275. Mounted where the air filter used to be. You could by a different tank and mount it somewhere else. You could buy a "better" Holley pump and spend a little more money. My Jegs pump worked great and is still working on dtr81's truck. I used all different kinds of fuels and never had a problem. vp110, c16, c23, e85, never an issue. Some people don't like the holley regulator. Go to the track and look at what alot of the really fast nitrous guys use...Holley 12-803.

Ok this may seem like a dumb question but I understand the reason for a standalone tank. Being the ability of running a much higher octane and no pressure drop on the rail. What else are the pros for a setup like this? Also some more info on why to use a higher octane fuel... Would you be have to tune for the higher octane? Iv been trying to research as much I can for my build but some things are still in the dark.

With a standalone, there isn't a need to upgrade your current fuel system for big shots. The higher octane fuel helps to prevent detonation. It allows you to run more timing which = more power.
