Default Nitrous outlet x series dry kit

Would my stock injectors be big enough to supply enough fuel for a 100 shot set up before the maf? My trucks a 2010 silverado 5.3 with mild cam 216/228 114 lsa.

doing it before the MAF for the IAT benefit? cant really think of why else you'd do it before the MAF

Im not an expert on the subject, but I dont know that it works that way. Doesnt make sense to me that the MAF would notice except for the IAT drop

It senses a sudden increase of air volume and ecm supply more fuel. What im not sure off is if the stock injectors will supply enough fuel with my cam already needing more fuel.

A MAF works by heating an element to the 'point' (not really a point, but a curve) where resistance increases by some known amount. Any fluid moving over the resistive element will cool it, reducing resistance. Less resistance and more current flows, and that current is converted into the frequency you see in your scanner. Spraying nitrous across it will cool it down a lot more than just the air moving over it, so it will add additional fuel. Whether it is too much fuel or too little will depend on the specific heat of the nitrous oxide. Either way, I don't think I'd jump right into a 100 shot without at least knowing how much overhead you've got available with the injectors. Need to review log data to be sure.

what is your injector duty cycle at? I can’t remember exact size of the 5.3 FF injectors, I think 36lb? Either way a 100 shot will prob be maxing out your stock injectors. the L96 6.0 (50lb) FF injectors aren’t too expensive and would swap right in...part # 12613412

The MAF reads resistance depending on the air temp passing over the wire and then the MAF sends info to PCM to make nessasary changes in a/f ratio...essentially the nitrous will cool the air temp so the MAF will tell the PCM to add more fuel

example of Dry Shot before the MAF
