Nitrous or Methanol For Cooling on Turbo?
#31
i have ran e85 and ran outta fuel at 8#'s of boost, i figured it would cost me around 2,500 for the fuel pump and injectors i would wanna run if i did goto e-85.... I love e-85 i will actually prolly end up running it again since this methanol injection kit is 100% concentrated and will take some strain off my current fuel system!

I'm running nitrous right now, and have a meth kit on the way. I probly won't be using the bitrou kit anymore since my new combination should be 1.4x 60" on boost alone and there's really no need for the nitrous. I think adding 2-3# of boost will give you the same results as a 75 shot and probly easier on parts.

2- m15 nozzle kit from Alky Control kept my IAT's in check pretty good i must say, it was around 50 degrees outside to begin with but iat's started at 90 degrees and when meth started spraying iats got down to 60 degrees..we will see what happends during the summer

Because CO2 only cools the intercooler. Meth adds fuel and cools the air charge. The more you spray, the cooler the charge and the more extra fuel.

Another vote for both here. I’ve done both with great success no data on it but after a pull the intake would be ice cold. Spraying pre turbo. Changes the turbo characteristics supposed to make it act like a bigger turbo.
