Exclamation Nitrous Help!!

Just ordered the (Nitrous Express Proton Fly By Wire Nitrous Systems 20422-10) for my 2012 GMC Sierra. The truck has a 5.3 cammed with (TRUCK STAGE IV CAM 224/230 .553"/.547" 111+2, 32430112) full bolt on's and a 3600 Yank Torque Converter with a 6l80. Also has tru trac locker with 4.10/s and traction bars. Now I was wondering if I need to order a window switch or progressor? Also how much do you guys recommend on spraying? Truck will be retuned by NewEra Performance Located in Agoura Hills California. New to the NOS game and needed some help! Thanks

A lot depends on how you plan on using the kit, ie, just at the track or on the street some. Window switches are highly recommended, especially ones that can do both RPM and throttle. Progressive controllers are fine for big shots, but not needed for moderate ones. Up to 100 shot is pretty easy. 200 is probably the max youll want to do with the stock intake. No matter what youll need tuning and plugs.

I was thinking more for the street with a max of 100 shot for now. Any window switches you recommend? Also what plugs would you recommend?

I would definitely recommend the window switch with the TPS function built in. Since you already have an NX kit i would go with their window switch / TPS combo unit as well, it is part # 18959.

Yea I have the nitrous express electronic one and it works well. For 100 shot you would be ok with a TR6 plug, but a BR7EFS would be ok too.

If you get the Lingenfelter LNC 2000 switch, you wont need two separate tunes for when your spraying or not. The unit will pull the designated timing once the system is armed. https://www.lingenfelter.com/product/L460145297.html
