Default Newb question

I've never been a bottle guy, but...

So why is a direct port kit better than a plate kit of the same size? For example, if I had a vic jr carb style efi manifold, why would the port kit be better ?

Second: If I already have a second fuel pump (twin 255 lphs) that comes on when I hit boost, do I need yet another pump for a wet kit?

With a direct port the same amount of fuel and nitrous is being injected into each cylinder. With a plate/nozzle set up each cylinder will be receiving a different amount. With a direct port you can also tune each individual cylinder. The fuel pump issue will depend on how much power you are making now and how much you will be spraying.
