Guidance reading nitrous plugs
 

Ok so I ran the truck on nitrous for he first time.decreased the timing and is now currently sitting at 23*. Did a few pulls and the truck ran great and pulled hard like a freight train, i was very impressed. Pulled a few plugs to get an average reading. As you can see in the picture, my timing line is almost perfect being just before the bend on the ground strap. Could possibly even add another degree or two. Now what confuses me is that is a perfect golden brown color between the tip and timing line, yet it's a chalky white between the timing line and threads. I also noticed there is a little peppering going on on the porcelain which normally would be from detonation, but I think my timing is still a little on the retard side. But maybe it can also be from running rich? I noticed that while spraying, my AFR's are between 11.8 -12.1. I've read that the AFR's on the spray and off the spay should be the same since it's a wetshot. Which they are matching, after lowering the timing in the tune, my AFR's fattened up, so I do have some work to do with the VE table now. Cause it's even running a little rich off the bottle

Anytime when reading plugs, always use a new plug. Drive to wherever your going to make your test hit, put new plug in, make your test hit and shut the truck off, and pull your plug.. Any kind of drive time is going to skew your plug readings.. Your way to rich as it is, get it around 12.6-12.8.. Lean/low timing > rich/high timing

As stated dont spray a 200 on low octane

Also for 200 should be a 8 series plug
