A Few ? About Nos

I just bought a N.X. wet fogger system...How big of a shot should or can I go without having to worry? Also I wanna try run it the whole 1/4... Will it be okay? Also do I need a retune for it?

Congrates on picking a good system.

I would suggest having your tune looked at since it has been tuned. You should be good for a easy 100 hp. You could safely do 150 with a fuel pump upgrade.

if your timing is way up there with the tune back it down a few degrees. also check into running some ngk tr6 plugs. they aren't as hot. a 100 shot all day long will be ok with a few safety precautions.

Right now I have Denso Irridiums... But if NGK is better... Ill get em.. Yeah I heard it was a good system... Ill do what yall tell me... And Ill post up new track times...

The Denso Irridiums are a good plug for nitrous use. What heat range do you have (if you don't know, just give me the part number)? You might have to re-gap them though.

The pt #5325

Yea unfortunatley those are only a Denso 16 heat range. Its comparable to a NGK TR55. I would pull them out and run a set of colder plugs. Here's a list of what I would go with:

NGK TR6 (stock number 4177); NGK TR6IX (stock number 3689); Autolite 103; Denso IT-20 (stock number 5326)

The NGK TR6IX is an iridum plug as well as the Denso IT-20. The iridiums always find their way into the shop truck due to their great idle quality but unfortunatley they're very expensive. If you're on a tight budget, the TR6's or the 103's will work just fine!

Wow!!! Holy Shit!!!! I hooked up the nitrous with just a 75 shot... And I get sideways at 60... Just need the new plugs and then ima see what the 125 will do...

silver-mod-o 02-18-2006 05:25 PM

sideways at 60????? how wet were the roads LOL.... you must be running like 225 tires on that thing...LOL....

goshawk23 02-18-2006 07:54 PM

i am spraying a 125 shot and at 60 it plants and goes. hell, i spray at 55 since i have 4.10 gears and it still just goes. if you are sideways with a 75 you have something wrong, bald tires, skinny tires or wrong jets.
