I would upgrade the fuel pump anywhere past a 150 shot also, at least this was the advise given to me at one time when I considered a 175 shot.

I've ran a few bottles of 200 hp shot off the rail before. I would say it's about 170hp if you are talking rwhp though. It can be done for sure.

As far as being safe? Well that depends on the persons definition of safe...but to me, I feel safe doing it.

I ran 200 off rail with a walboro and fuel pressure dropped to 45-48.

If she woulda told me mine was the biggest I would have told her she didn't need to flatter me...It's not about havin *****...It's about not bein a retard. I coulda fucked that chick without a rubber too, but I used my brain instead...

You're an idiot and shouldn't give advice just because you've done it and was ok. You even contradicted yourself in your last sentence by saying you don't do it now! Can it be done? Hell yeah it can! Hell you could prolly spray 400 off the rail a couple times with the stock pump. It just depends on how hard his pump is working now. He could spray 200 using the rail for several years to come, he could make one pass, he could make half a pass...Ya never know...

Here's the thing about nitrous...It doesn't matter what "safety mods" you have, hell it doesn't even matter if god himself put the tune up in the car; you're forcing more oxygen than was ever intended into your engine. If you're not totally cool with the fact that at any moment you could burn your **** up, nitrous isn't for you.

Am I trying to persuade you not to use nitrous? Hell no! That ***** fun! Is using your fuel rail to supply enough fuel for a 200shit hit of nitrous safe? Who's to say yes or no? Just in this thread alone we have one guy that says he was ok doin it for several years and then another says he lost fuel pressure even with an upgraded fuel pump.

I prolly shouldn't have called that fella an idiot. It worked for him and it may work the OP. Just be sure to keep an eye on it and GOOD LUCK!

I would put a large inline pump if going the fuel cell route. The magnafuel 4303 fuel pump has worked great even with lots of street driving in texas heat. My only complaint is that I haven't installed the correct fuel level sender and the low fuel light is always on.
