Default Anyone Sprayed A 4.8 5 Speed Truck?

Thinking of throwing a 125 shot on my truck it is tuned with no cats and a 1 chamber spintech but every thing else is stock . Think it will be ok?

you will be fine but not sure for how long. You might wanna get a vette servo and a shift kit to make your tranny last as long as possible. It is not going to like that 125 shot. The motor will be fine. They say the limit on a stock motor to be safe is 150 shot.

i got plans of some spray too. i'm curious to see how much these nv3500's can handle, only rated at 300 lb ft. never heard of one breaking tho. i'm trying to break mine, so wifey will let me buy a t56. get a good tune and go for it. let us know how it goes.

I wouldnt spray on a NV3500, just me.

Do the T56 swap if you plan on FI or nitrous.

i wonder whats going to go 1st, nv3500 or g80? i have a tru trac and 4.10 waiting to be installed. i'm putting over 300 rwhp thru it and beating the **** out of it. Still shifts just like new. i think its stronger than guys give it credit for. spray the hell out of it.
