Default Speed Density, Dry Shot

Here are some pictures of how I'm running my speed density, dry shot at the track tomorrow. I call it crambing nitrous down the intakes throat the dry way. IDK?

I've mounted a IAT sensor in the air box, that way I don't need the MAF hanging around anywhere. Also, I tucked it over there so I could get cold readings. I have my IAT adjust for Spark & Fuel mostly zeroed out but, might as well keep it cold ay?

Reasons for this?
Well, I'm going with a cam sometime soon hopefully. Also, I kept freezing the MAF with this ZEX cone. Figured... screw it.

I will eventually put that CAI back on and get things cleaned up a bit. As you can see, I have the 'Noids suspended in air at the time. LOL

good looking setup you got there. if i wouldn't get back so late, i'd probably go and run my truck too. good luck on the new set up. crossing my fingers to see some 12.xx time slips out of that truck.

When I have to get up early, I just get down there when the gates open and then leave by 9-10 and it doesn't kill you the next morning....

DUH but, let me know if you change your mind.

Thanks Lance.

I was thinking something like this too. A dry shot on SD doesn't seem like a good idea. The computer is relying on constants for fuel, not adapting to changes.

Do you have a relocated IAT sensor?

The PE table. Just two seperate tunes for on and off the nitrous. I don't really mess around with nitrous on the street on a day to day basis so, it's not that big of a deal for me.

Yes, it is shown in the second picture. Mounted on the back side of the air box.

If the nitrous hit that, it would richen it up some, but since it's not in the intake tract, it wouldn't benefit.

Unfortunately, my PCM does not have a PE adder vs. IAT temps.
Also, it takes a good deal of time before my IATs drop but, once they do...
I think I saw 80* at the beginning and 40* by 3rd gear once.

I'll eventually get the MAF back in there, 'I think'. Depending on how the cam tuning goes. I just love a dry shot + MAF because of the seperate timing/fueling on one tune.
If I could figure a way to do that now....
