New to the page.....
Hey, what’s up guys just signed up I’m from California and own a 99 single cab v6 looking to swap in a v8 from an 09 I have, and also a TBSS... looking forward to a lot of useful information...

Welcome to the forum!
That swap is 3 jumps in wiring and computers. It may be easier to steal everything else out of the 09 as well (wire harness, TB, gas pedal, computer, etc.). Another option is convert the 09 to an 24 tooth reluctor wheel (have to remove crank), but the newer control systems do have some nice features.
If you are wanting to swap to a v8 in general, find a 99-06 engine and use a cable TB and intake to make it easier.
