Hi Everyone,

I've had my 2011 chevy for about 2 years now, bought it bone stock and done everything you see to it. Truck currently has 205k and running strong. I love my truck, previous truck was a 1994 chevy 1500.

Mods:

Performance:
S&B intake
Intune programmer
customer side exhaust (came from a Jones catback exhaust)
LT headers (Protunninglab)

Suspension:
Zone leveling kit (3" front and 2" rear)

Exterior:

ebay front grill
front bumper color matched
20" center led bar
4- pod lights in a custom mount
rear flush mount pod lights on rear bumper
large fender mod (cali large fender mod)
nfad running boards
tri fold bed cover
plastic bed insert with bed lights
debadged everything
rear smoked led taillights and led 3rd brake light

Interior:

ruose nav system (with back up camera)
6x9 rear speakers in doors
replaced front speakers as well

Most of the parts I got were either used or on the cheaper side. Trying to do a build on a budget. I highly recommend the Zone lift kit, install was very straight forward and ride isn't to hindered with the front torsion lift.

Many mods to still come in the future.

thank you!

yeah, I'd love to do some motor work, just not sure if it is worth doing to a 200k plus motor? I'd like to do a cam and eventually a blower (lsa, magna charger). honestly not to familiar with these ls motors. I've had a 500hp turbo 95 mustang and a 900hp turbo 03 cobra. so not scared to do a little work.

at 200k its no spring chicken... but I wouldnt be scared.

I would look at a blower as you mentioned. If you wanted to go nuts to make sure it was totally 100% solid look at a new oil pump, and maybe having the heads cleaned up and tolerances checked - valve stem guides etc. To be honest one of the best deals going is the GMPP ported LS3 heads that com complete with LS3 springs on them. We can help you pick a cam with .550 lift that will work great with the blower and you'll love every second of it!

Boom... head, cam, and blower will have the ability to make just about 600 at the tires on pump gas.

thanks for the info. Ill have to look into that. I use my truck mostly as my DD (hope to have a beater car soon) but also pull a 10,000 pound camper a few times a year. So still want something reliable but also be able to haul the mail when need be.:burnout:

Yea... I would look at the mods listed above. When it comes time for a cam let me know and I will help you choose. You want something that will be great for longevity and work well in a heavy truck.
