New member looking to get back into a build
Hey everyone, new here and looking to get back into building a project since i haven’t in a long time. I have a 04 Sierra 1500. Regular can, 8ft bed, automatic with a 5.3L. I am currently looking at purchasing he on3 bolt on turbo kit along with bigger injectors, fuel pump etc... Also i am looking for input on options for a 15x10 rear wheel if that’s even possible (I’ve read you need to grind down the calipers or purchase a relocation kit?) along with a 17x7 or 17x8 (which one would work/look best?)front wheel. Also looking to see what size tires i should run with those wheels. As far as the suspension goes i don’t want it to be slammed but i do want a nice stance so i was thinking a 2/4 drop? I plan to put a cam in that will work best with the on3 set up, along with a new converter (not sure what stall i want to go with yet), pulleys, electric fan and set of gears(also not sure what i want to go with yet).
So yea that’s the plan for the build, if y’all have any input on the the wheel/tire related questions or any other supporting mods etc it would be highly appreciated. The truck is being built to just be something fun to cruise around town and to some meets and what not.
