As the title states, I'm a new guy to the forum. I've read lots of posts over the last few months as a non member, so I thought I should register and possibly contribute something back over time.
My LS engine interest started when I acquired a low klm LY6/6L90e/transfer case, and everything to run it, from a rolled truck at work. I dreamed up a few conversion projects for this combo, but decided to start my LS experience with a more achievable and realistic project. That package has been sat aside for now....
I've recently purchased a '02 Silverado 2500 4x4, with the LQ4 6ltr and 4L80e transmission. Aside from needing the transfer case rebuilt, it's a pretty solid truck for it's age around here. I chose this truck as a base for a turbo project, while being a practical vehicle.
I played with a turbo Dodge 2.5ltr engine for years....in a minivan.... and miss the love/hate relationship that forms from turbo projects.
