Default Built 4l60 last with low Boost

Hey idk if anyone still uses the forums on here but I would like to know anyone’s opinion on running low boost(5psi) on a built 4l60 from a reputable shop that’s rated for 500-600hp. I’m running a fbo 4.8 as of rn but do have a on3 performance turbo kit with a small turbo if anyone has any knowledge they can share if this will be possible or not pls let me know thx.

This is on truck, right? How much does your truck weigh? Are you daily driving it or exclusive track vehicle? How many miles and/or passes?

What all was done to the transmission? Do you have a list of upgrades/mods? Maybe you can post that list and someone with good knowledge can offer advice.

it’s a RCSB Silverado weighing around 4200lbs and yea it would be a daily driver and it’s a high mileage motor don’t know too much about parts used for my transmission just know it’s a built trans from Juan’s transmissions down in Pasadena

Some people have luck and they last others not so much. It’s really dependent on your driving style to be honest.
