Ok. Here's a thought. Anybody ever thought about swapping a newer silverado (2000) on an older (up to 87) frame. I know it's usually the other way around, but I can't for the life of me find a decent replacement frame for my truck. Plus, the newer frames are know to be junk from rust. Another reason is the older trucks used spindles instead of the one piece bearing thing. Other than that, there's really no difference and plenty of upgrade parts for the older chassis.
