Back in a Chevy!
 

After decades of K5 Blazers I moved over to the dark side and had a Ram 2500 and then a Ram 3500. As awesome as the Cummins powered trucks are, I didn't need that much truck any more. So not wanting to deal with rusty older trucks any more, as much as I love the old square body trucks, I came across an '06 Silverado 4.3 locally. Not what I was looking for but in great condition for it's age and mileage (150k). It's really growing on me so I think it's a keeper! Glad to find this forum too!

No, not really. I'll just go through it and make sure everything is good and use it as a daily run around. My days of engine, trans and axle swaps are over I think .... maybe ..... 😁

Welcome to Performance Trucks! That's a nice daily to get around in. Those Vortec 4.3 V6's were great engines. This sounds like a perfect truck to just keep it as is and replace items as needed.
