1/4 mile help

OK new here. I have a 2000 scsb 5.3. it has Cai, no muffler, Diablosport, 4.56 gears, vette servo, efans, on 30 in tires and It's not lifted. I ran last night and could only run a 16.3 at 82mph I always see guys on here running 15 sec on here stock. What am I doing wrong the only thing i can think of Is that the elevation is around 5500 feet. Any help would be great

Yes elevation plays a huge role. Also ditch the diablo sport and get a real tune from someone reputable. Post up your timeslip that will also help diagnose

DA is more important than elevation.. but you mph should be around 90mph

hell my truck traps 82mph in the 1/8 and its slow :)

also post up the rest of your slip

The elevation IS killing you and possibly DA as said above. Turbo is the answer in a mile high scenario!

ask around what trucks are running in that same track..many guys here are from texas with really low elevation...my track is at about 5800 ft nd i compare my times to trucks here...altitude will kill you bad...stock rcsb 5.3 run 17.7 here where i go
