06 Silverado

Hi, I have an 06 silverado single cab 4x4 with a 4/6 drop. I haven't had any trouble in the front but the rear end rides really hard and I was wondering what I should/can do to help or fix that problem without raising it. I would also like to know if a c-notch would be a good idea and what it does.

That's what I was beginning to look at for my truck. Do you have any recommendations on a certain brand and type? Thanks, I'm from Alaska

djm or belltech I have used both brands and have been pleased with both. however the djm gave me a little stiffer ride

Alright cool. The roads here are really bumpy with the ice freezing over it and everything. How much do they normally run?

I just ordered mine through stylin truck when I lowered my dodge ram and my truck I have now came like this. but last I checked djm was cheaper

What is your setup so far on lowering it? Mine is a 2wd with just a 2/4 and it rides really rough. Im gonna c notch the rear and hopefully let it ride better. Thats what i would suggest for you

Im setting at about a 4/5 and my truck rides like a caddy

i bought a 2/4 lowering kit and it lowered it with hangers and shackles. i then brought it to a shop where they tampered with it which lowered it more. in the rear they removed the blocks and im not sure what they did in the front, i think they may have loosened the torsion keys

Which shop did you take it to?

When you lowered the rear, did you relocate the rear axle bump-stops?
