Default Rematch with the lightning..

Raced my buddys lightning again last night, he pullied it down to 12 psi and was on 91 pump gas (15psi on e85 before) both runs from 20 and no nitrous on mine.

Mods on L are.. built short block, stage 3 jlp heads/cams, port mated intake, stage 5 ported blower, long tubes/full exhaust, edge 2800 stall, cai, tb.. all the bolt ons anyways. She pulls hard up top!

Yeah speaking of that...how is that lighting pulling so hard up top? If anything this race shoulda been the other way around!

Thats all shes got! its hard to run with a boost truck on top end if your na. His dynoed around 500hp at the wheels and mines maybe 380??

My converter helps a bunch for the jump, I think his heads/cams are to big for the stall now but hes got plans for a wipple 3.4 then it should run a bit better.

The lightning should have been fighting for traction doing a 20mph punch on the street, mine was at 500rwhp and would grease the tires from a 20 roll and I only had a 2600rpm stall

It depends on set up. My L is built, heads cams, unported blower at around 12psi if I had to guess. It hooks perfect from a 20 hit. From 30 it roast the tires though.

If you truck is still trapping 106, I feel sorry for that lightning. Unless the timing was low for 91. Props for staying in until he passed you though.
