That is a hard launch. Probably leaving at 4500-5000rpms. I wonder what size tires those are???

 

Oh my god. That was one hell of a launch!

 

Dang that get's my blood pumping. I wrecked my 71 Nova with a clutchless M22, Mcleod soft-loc slipper clutch and 427 SB. It was NA and would launch similar and pull the front wheels again when I hit 2nd and 3rd. I was still working the bugs when I wrecked it and hadn't shifted it clutchless yet. People at the small local tracks standing close would scatter when I dropped the hammer at 7000
All you saw was eyballs, teeth and Benjamins flying when I left. I had a hard time driving from laughing.

I still got all that stuff and an unfinished 81 vette with a cage and 9" sitting in the shop. It just needs ~$4-5k worth of body work and fuel system etc. to be raising hell again. I just got burnt out. Hell that damn clutch has 2 passes on it and they run $2600 alone.
