Pat,

Install looks great. Details on the a/c compressor bracket install? I know you were talking about fabbing a bracket but that one looks like a factory piece. I'm putting an LQ9 in a 72 chevelle and may need to relocate the compressor if it doesn't clear the frame. Also what did you use for adapting the power steering? Did your power steering pump have a provisiion for a cooler?

Thanks for the compliments. The AC compressor is the stock compressor from the 88-95 TBI trucks- it's an R134a piece. I used a TPI camaro ac compressor bracket modified to fit. The details for that can be found here: http://forum.ls1truck.com/index.php?showtopic=4171

The PS pump is the one from the donor truck, a 2002 3/4 ton pickup. That truck had hydroboost so the PS resivoir had an extra return fitting that I had to cap off. Otherwise it bolted right on and used my old lines with some slight bending of the hardline. No cooler is being used.

I picked up an air cleaner from a 98 truck with the vortec 350 today. Hopefully I can get that plumbed in relatively easily.

Also here is the startup video: http://www.pswired.com/95silverado/p...LQ9startup.wmv

I haven't driven it more than 35 MPH for 5 minutes or so since the exhaust system is not done yet and it's WAY too loud for street use with the open manifolds!

As always great job. Patrick you have to show these guys what you did with the wiring on this thing. Basically converting an OBDI (correct?) to an OBDII with a computer and all the wiring, insane You see all the wires that he was working with and you would swear he took apart a model of C3PO at his house. Great work.
