Go tie on to one of those new 5.0s, or a gt500 or a boss mustang then say that. Ford isn't at the bottom of the totem pole anymore. I'm a gm man through and through but Ford is producing a better quality product right now. There is a reason they aren't owned by the government and turning billions in profit.

I will give you a nod to that. But the new mustangs are just now finaly getting fast. I grew up ford and like the Super Dutys over the HDs but since I have gotten more into racing I have learned and realised that mustangs in general are slow as snot.

I still think they are pitifully slow, considering it has a "SVT 6.2" in it. The bronco in my sig went 0-60 in 6.8 seconds and it's 4wd on 35's. And it made 200hp in stock form, and with mild bolt ons and a jet chip, I doubt it made more than 250hp.

lmao

I thought I was the only one thinking the new ford raptors were slow. I saw videos awhile back on youtube and they were disappointing, I just never said anything lol.

6.2 ford vs 6.2 GM...I would put my money on the GM every time. I expected that truck to be faster as well. Glad to know on pavement my truck is faster than the raptor. Take it down a dirt road and he's got me for sure!

I think they are slow too. Hopefully some poeople in my area will pop up with a few of these so i can hurt there feelings. It must suck to spend alot of money on a new "performance" truck and get smoked.

They proposed a bailout but to my knowledge never took any money.

I know it is on big tires, 4wd and meant mostly for offroad, but it is meant to be a "performance" truck. I don't hardly call that performing. Most everything SVT is slow. The focus was a snail, most of the mustangs aren't going to knock your socks off either.

performance isnt always based on a drag strip. i would love to see you try to follow this truck offroad. the suspension under it is awesome for a showroom vehicle.
