The new DD
 

Just picked it up last night, will sign up on it today but its a 2007 ltz Crew 2wd with 76k miles on it. Been looking for a truck like this for a long time. I will have more pics later but for now this is all I took. Black wasn't on my top list of colors for a dd but I know the previous owner and the door jambs on this truck are cleaner than some peoples entire vehicle! Few mods will be on the way soon but this truck will be a mode of transportation so its just gonna look good for now :) I hope to get situated and begin the turbo process for the rcsb truck:burnout:


Gonna do a CCM level kit, 295/55/20 Nitto trail, SSS 20's, tinted windows, take off the step bars and the emblems, paint the grille and rear bumper and wood grain on the inside, denali tails, and prolly add some N-fab step bars later(in black of course)........ This truck will never have black wheels though lol!

I really was thinking about repainting my wheels while its down. I like it, but just want to do something different to change it up some.

lol, naw I got it figured out, funny how simple things can be when ya start tearing things apart lol. Cracked intake tube will make a truck do some funny things ;) already replaced it but hopefully it gets a metal replacement soon........

I really dig the NNBS interiors, very comfy and CC's are pretty spacious.

So today we had a car show locally and I didn't get much done. Still waiting on tires for my wheels and didn't have time to go get any tint but I did manage to knock the dirt off and throw on the CCM 2.5 lift spacer and debage the doors....... Still undecided if I want to leave the small square GM emblem but I left them for now. I found that it needs a full paint correction do I plan to take care of that in another thread next weekend if I have some time. Anyway here is a cell phone teaser pic.....

Lol this truck won't even have a muffler on it! The truck is a 2wd but I put on a ccm 2.5 lift on the front and will put on a bigger tire next week. I don't want a lowered dd, and to be honest..... These fenders are huge so I figure why not a bigger tire :) Shelby I still got my reg cab and it will always be slow just like everything I own :(

na I'm messing. Truck looks good man. Now you have a DD and a race truck!! You'll get that rcsb going I'm sure. It's not like I have anything fast.. :judge:

lol I found the sig to be very effective at showing everyone what I have :)

The truck is a 2wd but I put a leveling kit on it. I wanted a z71 but couldn't bring myself to spend the extra money plus I will never use the 4wd anyway. I considered lowering this truck but I was ready to have something that could jump a curb if I needed to!




man I am trying to get like you but I got a loooooonnnngggg way to go lol. My dang tires won't be here till tomorrow :( gotta wait another day to ride on these little doughnuts :eyes: Hopefully after that I can get the windows done and enjoy it for a little while haha

Love it, makes me almost regret selling the SS wheels off my 03 last week. Could have put them on my 11.

Truck looks great now, you will be sadly disappointed if you grab a set of Denali tails and try to fit them on a silvy tho.....tried it and they don't fit. Gmc and Chevy ran different box sides and tail light openings.
