Default Finally got another truck to replace the totaled one

Well as some of you knew, I totaled my truck in October.

Picked up another Colorado from a good friend for a great price.

Couldn't be more happy with it thus far, don't think I could have bought a better truck from a better guy. We had been working on getting it here for quite a while seeing as the transmission was broken and it wouldn't drive. Finally got it figured out and they picked it up from him in Houston TX Friday 2 weeks ago.

It got here (Memphis) the following Tuesday about 5pm:

Wednesday morning we pushed it in and got started:

Out with the old:

In with the new:

Cleaned up the trans crossmember:

and as good as new:

Got a WELL needed bath and its all set, I am still baffled by how good of a shape this truck is in.. esp the paint and engine bay. Extremely happy thus far, I have a LOT of plans for it but with work and school I haven't had time to do anything.

After MUCH needed bath

Been driving it everyday since Wednesday

Nice. It sucks about your other truck, but at least you could find a replacement you are happy with.

Looks good!

Just need a set of tires that don't suck and it will be 100% cool.
