my buddy has a monte carlo. 4.3 turbo.. he has a whole build on mcss.com.. bad ass!!! those lil 4.3 can move with a boost.

are you sure you put in a cam and just did not unplug a vacuum line on the intake? I am throwing the BS flag....

I tinkered with a few things a got it running better. Comparing the logs to an old 50 shot, its damn close to the same acceleration.

Went to cut off the cat and replace with some straight pipe today, coincidentally the cat started coming apart as I parked the truck to cut it off. Muffler started rattling and white powder poured out of the cat when it came off.

How long was the swap, was it similar to the V8s ?

What size outlets and how big is it? How much you want? Im planning on runnin 3" coming of the y pipe and straight back, planning on having plenty of exhaust volume running through it. :secret2: Im looking to get a straight thru muffler, Ive heard some 4.3s with a Hooker Max flow and they sound good. Id like Magnaflow too, but dont wanna spend that much.

Damn bro. That is bad ass!!! I love it when people build odd ball motors. Car Craft did a Chevy 4.3 V6 and it made 315 HP on the motor, 502HP boosted with a Wieand roots style street blower. There is a guy here in Fayetteville with a Chevette with a 4.3 with a 200 shot on it. He is running LOW 6's in the 1/8th. I'm shure your truck burns alot of V8s.

I just got in my 260/266 cam for my 4.3 and i am installing it today and tomorrow after work.

be careful not to strip out your came retainer plate torx bolts

What cam did you put in it? Comp recommended the 56-450-8 for my 04 4.3,
