Finally got my factory speedo working on my 89, decided to make a little clip playing around lol.

How did u get the speedo to work if u don't mind sharing ?

 

Sure, I tapped into both wires from the VSS at the rear of the trans, and got both original VSS wires from the 89, bought me a Dakota Digital SGI-5 C box and wired it into that. Instructions are included with the SGI-5 box. Although the only way I got it to work is if I tapped the brown wire from the truck to the ground wire from the LS VSS harness.
