Old thread..Still I wonder how I missed it. I got out in Jun of 2009. Spent five years at MCAS NewRiver. Went on few deployments, but I am looking at coming back in as an Officer once I complete my degree. I sure miss the Corp, and of course the pay wasn't too bad either. I was officially discharged from active duty a year ago this month. I was in the wing but on the up-side, I recieved my powerplants license via the apprenticship program. Just put down 450 rwhp and 520 rwtq with my little 4.8L - stock cam, stock bottom end

 

Hows it going guys was 0311 now 0369, did 3 tours in Iraq and currently on my first to Afghanistan and can't wait to get home and put my New Garrett in my truck.

 

It's good to know I'm not the only one away from my bowtie for this *** crack of a country.

i thought the ANA and georgians took over D1 and D2. i feel for you, man. after deleram we went straight to sangin. i just got back in october.

 

i missed this thread for years too. im not a marine, but i dont know **** about the navy lol. fmf corpsman, just got back from the ghan in october with 3/7.
