Cheapest marine motor I have found is $2400 to my door

I can braze it for free, because I have the stuff lol. The cooling system doesnt hold pressure, the crack is only in the cooling passages and I can do it in.... idk, 2hrs?

How long is it gonna take to swap motors?

Jeez guys, y'all act like you've never met a welder before lol

I assumed the motor was already out of the boat. I didn't think anything with an inboard V6 would have any room to work in.

It's still in there. To pull it I will need to build a frame to come-along the motor out. My crane will not get high enough, already measured

Block is scrap anyway. I agree with that. But if I can make it functional scrap, it is "mission accomplished"

does any knowledgeable person care to explain to me why the marine plug is so drastically different than the street plug? And maybe also why I shouldn't use the street plug in this motor?
